Strengths/Question Marks: “We return most of the core of a team that won a state playoff game. Six returning starters (all seniors) will provide the experience and more importantly the leadership we will need to get to the next level. Shane Mills, a Chestnut Hill College commit, will anchor our rotation who have a lot of talent but not a lot of varsity experience due to the major loss of Conner Cataldi (Tommy John) from our rotation. Our defense and pitching will be the strength of this team. Kenny Lutz, a Chestnut Hill College commit, anchors our defense as one of the best defensive catchers in the area. Seniors Cole Incudine/SS (UVA Wise commit), Makhi English/2b and Chase Canney/CF (Moravian University commit) all seniors, make our defense up the middle extremely tough to score on. Isaiah Brown a three-year starter in left field adds to our team’s experience and depth. The past few years we have struggled to score runs. Our ability to grind out at-bats and drive home runners in scoring position will determine how good we can be.”

Outlook: “I think we will surprise a lot of people this year. We really tried to stack our non-conference schedule to prepare us for our tough league schedule and hopefully a deep playoff run. We have a great group of kids who show up every day ready to work. They believe in what we are doing and more importantly they believe in each other. With that kind of mentality, we have a chance to do something really special.”
