Last year’s record: 13-6 overall (9-0 in SOL Liberty Division); #8 seed in the PIAA District 1 6A standings; lost in the 2nd round of PIAA District 1 6A tournament to Conestoga.
Notable losses: All-State 1B/P Madison Moran (Rider University), All-Area CF Kalina Childers (Jefferson University), All-Area P Rian Reed (Clarion University), and All-League OF Jenna Yablon

Strengths: “PW looks forward to getting back on the field for a new year after a successful 2025 regular season and a disappointing early exit in the district playoffs. They will look to extend their streak of back-to-back SOL Liberty Division titles and turn that into a deep playoff run. To do this, they will rely heavily on their experienced roster, returning 13 girls with varsity playing time last year.
“Their main strength should be their offensive firepower, led at the top of their line-up by one of last year’s top hitters, Zoey Robinson, and the return of 2023 All-State Middle Infielder Joslyn Perez (who missed last year with a knee injury). They also have plenty of firepower in the middle of their lineup with 2024 All-State catcher Anna Powel, 2025 All-State 3B Gia Bono, and newcomer Lizzy LaNoce. They will also rely heavily on some of their younger players, including juniors Maddie Swift & Addie Antenucci, and sophomore Liv Brodzinski to contribute heavily to the lineup.”
Question Marks: “One big question is who will replace their two college-bound pitchers from last year (Rian Reed & Madison Moran) in the circle for 2026. The pitching staff is deep (Seniors Emma Keely & Ava McEvoy, Junior Lana DeLucca, and Sophomores Liv Brodzinski & Teagan Stanley), with a lot of potential, but lacks Varsity experience. The same can be said for their defensive utfield as they try to replace 4-year starter in center field and 2025 SOL Liberty Player of the Year Kalina Childers.
Outlook: “The team is ready to take on the challenges of a new season. With a combination of experienced upperclassmen returning to the lineup, along with a mix of talented and eager underclassmen filling out the roster, the team looks to build off its recent success. After a disappointing loss in the second round of the PIAA District 1 playoffs, the team feels like it has unfinished business to take care of. As with every year, the main goal for the 2026 Plymouth Whitemarsh softball team is to continue improving throughout the season, contending for both league and district titles, and returning to the PIAA State playoffs after their 2023 appearance.”
