On Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2025, CB East seniors Skylar Lipp, Magee Williamson & Aralynn Patterson were recognized for committing to compete in collegiate soccer. Skylar Lipp – Widener University (Soccer)
Major: Civil Engineering
Reasons for choosing Widener: “I did some research online to make sure it would be a good fit academically. As soon as I got on campus, I just knew – the atmosphere, and the team was so welcoming. My coach was so sweet the entire recruiting process and just made things to easy for me. The team, the environment, my coach – they all made the decision really easy.”
What was the progression that led you to competing in soccer at the collegiate level? “I wasn’t really sure in the
beginning. I started the process a lot later than most people. My junior year – which is late for a lot of people – I thought it could be an option for me, and I knew it was something I wanted to pursue.”
Central Bucks East soccer coach Jake Nesteruk: “Skylar Lipp is the human definition of grit. A never-say-die, a never say no, a never quit attitude that shows up day in and out. Whether it’s at training, in a game of gauntlet or in the toughest of state title runs we could’ve asked for, Sky empties the tank for herself, her family and her teammates.
“Like many across the backline, Sky had to wait to get her shot, and as soon as she did, she rose into this leader that led with her heart, her attitude and physicality and matched it with this consistent decision-making on the ball that made her a force to be reckoned with as an outside back. She had a hunger to get better and better over the years and week to week this season, culminating in a backline that earned three shutouts in four games all against regionally ranked opponents.
“Whether it’s watching her celebrate her teammates scoring big goals, watching her slap those hands in frustration after some bad refereeing or crying at our final get together as she looked at her teammates and our field under the lights…she’s all heart. And we will miss that.
“Widener is getting a player who will make them better on day one. Someone who understands the game, respects the work and carries herself with so much character. State Champion.
“Sky, we’re proud of you and cannot wait to see what you’ll achieve in the years ahead.”

Aralynn Patterson – Dickinson College (Soccer)
Major: International Studies

Reasons for choosing Dickinson: “Academically, it was the perfect fit for me. Going into the process, I wanted a high academic school, and the team is also very talented, so it was a good mix.”
What was the progression that led you to competing in soccer at the collegiate level: “Very early in my soccer career I started thinking about it. I started my recruiting process in eighth grade, but I didn’t really know what I wanted. It really picked up probably my sophomore year was when I really started getting serious.”
Central Bucks East coach Jake Nesteruk: “Talking about Aralynn is easy and impossible at the same time. Easy because
anyone who’s watched Aralynn play knows exactly why she’s up here. Impossible because it’s hard to sum up a kid who has done so much for the program.
“Aralynn came into our program in 2022 as this quiet little freshman – and earned a varsity spot immediately. From that moment on, she became a cornerstone of who we are. She was electric in front of goal, pulling out saves no freshman goalkeeper has any business making. Her very first year: a district finalist and a state qualification. And over the years, she’s done it again, and again, and again…growing into the leader everyone wants to have in front of their own goal. A general some may say.
“And now she leaves CBEGS as a four-year varsity starter, a two-year captain, a four-time state qualifier, a PIAA semifinalist, an SOL Colonial champion, a district finalist and champion…and most of all, a 2025 State Champion – after delivering arguably her best performance on the biggest stage, in her final day wearing an East jersey, claiming her 13th clean sheet on the year in a 7-0 win over our noisy neighbors. History Books.
“Aralynn is a force of good. She holds the highest possible standard for herself, for her teammates and for our program. She’s poured everything she has into this, and we would not have so much to celebrate – as a team or as a coaching staff – without her. It’s been an absolute blessing watching her grow up.
“Dickinson isn’t just getting a great soccer player, they’re getting someone who lifts the level of everyone around her. The definition of a leader. And they’re getting a genuinely great human being who’s going to make their campus better the minute she shows up.
“Aralynn, congratulations. We are so beyond proud of you, and I can’t wait to see the impact you’re going to have at the next level. We are going to miss you more than my words can capture, but please know how CBEGS will always be in your corner.”

Magee Williamson – University of South Carolina Upstate (Soccer)
Major: Political Science/Pre-law

Reasons for choosing South Carolina Upstate: “They play in the Big South Division, which is Division 1 and it’s highly competitive, which I’m very excited about. South Carolina is the best place ever. My family and I are there all summer, so I love it there. Then I went to the campus, and everyone was so nice. You opened a door, and no one didn’t say hello. It was a
really great environment.”
What was the progression that led you to competing in soccer at the collegiate level? “I probably started thinking about playing college in ninth grade. Obviously, CB East is super competitive. You watch all the seniors and how they play and what they’re going to do moving forward. They were pretty good role models for me, and I can’t imagine not playing soccer anymore.”
Central Bucks East coach Jake Nesteruk: “Where do I start with this kid? Truth of the matter is, and I shared this with Magee in her senior letter – this is one of the hardest speeches I’ve had to give because I know if she had the opportunity, she would’ve found her way onto the scoresheet and then some in the state championship this year…maybe scoring her 25th or so goal of the year.
“One of the first things people notice about Magee is her smile. It’s infectious. And the thing is…it’s not just a smile. It’s her enthusiasm. It’s her belief. It’s the way she walks into a moment – any moment – with this energy that just lifts the people around her.
“What you see in Magee as a human being…you get exactly that as a player and a leader. There’s no difference. She’s loyal. She’s passionate. She cares deeply. It shows up in how she plays, and this year, sidelined with an injury – it showed up in how she led from afar. And she did lead.
“On the field, she played with a kind of fire you can’t coach. She changes games with her presence and with her relentless running. Her physicality, her knack for big goals (2 beauts in the state tournament last year against Central York). And off the field, she’s the heartbeat. She brings people together. She sets the tone just by being who she is. She makes people feel good. Makes them feel seen, heard and valued no matter how big or small their role in the program.
“USC Upstate is getting someone who will make an immediate impact. A competitor, a connector and a culture-setter. Someone who’s going to make their program better from day one. I cannot wait for this kid to get cleared to play so she gets to wreak havoc on the backlines everywhere.
“Magee – we are so proud of you. You’ve earned this. And please know you’ve made way more of an impact on this program than you think. I cannot wait to see the mark you’re going to leave at the next level.”
