Strengths/Question Marks:

  • Strengths: Starting 5 all have lots of varsity playing experience, they have all been in the program for years. Several of the players are multi-sport athletes that bring a lot of athleticism to the gym each day.
  • Question Marks: While we have lots of varsity experience, players are playing new positions and being asked to do a lot more than what was asked of them in the past.

Outlook: “There is no doubt the loss of AJ Avery and Joslyn Perez to injury will be a challenge this year. They are both multi-year captains and rocks of our program. That being said, we still have several very talented players that will have the opportunity to make their mark on the program. Our goals for the year remain the same as every year before…compete for the Liberty Division, qualify for District 1 playoffs, earn a home playoff game, and qualify for states.”
