Players of the Week
Nate Szydlik, Council Rock South – The all-state linebacker was an impact player on both sides of the football in Council Rock South’s 28-27 win over Quakertown. At linebacker, Szydlik had nine tackles, which included one sack and TFL. He saw action at both wide receiver and running back and finished with over 100 yards rushing and 50 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Brady Martin, Quakertown – The senior quarterback was on the field for every play except PATs in Quakertown’s 28-27 loss to Council Rock South. Martin and the Panthers came within a two-point conversion of handing the Golden Hawks their first loss of the SOL Continental season. As it was, he kept the Panthers in it until the final play of the game, rushing for 92 yards and two touchdowns and throwing for 180 yards and one TD. On the defensive side of the football, he had seven solo tackles and one interception.
Liam Hoey, Central Bucks East – The junior linebacker was a difference maker on both sides of the football in Central Bucks East’s 41-35 loss to Neshaminy. Hoey had 13 carries for 163 yards and a touchdown, and on the defensive side of the football, he had 11 tackles.

Offensive Player of the Week
Luke Beighley, Pennsbury – The junior linebacker turned running back ignited a Pennsbury offense that struggled to put points on the board, finishing with 150 rushing yards and five touchdowns in just over a half of action in Pennsbury’s 42-16 win over Abington. The win was the first of the season for the Falcons.

Defensive Player of the Week
Dylan Moody – The sophomore defensive back was a force in Upper Dublin’s 20-7 win over Bensalem. Moody led the Cardinals’ defense (which did not allow a point until the final play of the game) with four interceptions and a fumble recovery.
Sterling Limo Honor Roll:
Rylei Gray & Matt Pownall, North Penn – The running back duo combined for 245 rushing yards in North Penn’s 31-13 win over Central Bucks West. Gray also threw a touchdown pass out of the halfback option.
Derek Guenther, William Tennent – The senior quarterback completed 13 of 20 passes for 230 yards and two touchdowns in William Tennent’s 20-14 loss to Springfield Twp.
Colin Harris, Souderton – The senior running back came off the bench and had three carries for 55 yards and two touchdowns in Souderton’s 70-0 win over Council Rock North.
Jordan Lawson, William Tennent – The senior had four receptions for 103 yards and two touchdowns in William Tennent’s 20-14 loss to Springfield Twp.
Plymouth Whitemarsh defensive line: Amir Butler, Hunter Discala, Kyaire Lindsay, Chase Tadeo and Cole Ashbridge. The defensive line stood tall in Plymouth Whitemarsh’s 28-18 win over Upper Moreland that clinched a share of the SOL American title. Lindsay was a catalyst on the line with two sacks and a forced fumble.
Mujana Sudi, Souderton – The senior running back had three carries for 51 yards and two touchdowns in Souderton’s 70-0 win over Council Rock North.
Landen Zuk, Souderton – The senior excelled on special teams in Souderton’s 70-0 win over Harry S Truman, finishing with five tackles on kickoffs.
