“It wasn’t our best performance of the season, but our boys were able to keep their composure in a game that required us to be patient to get our goals.

To get another clean sheet is big for us as we come towards the end of the regular season because it requires everyone that plays to be bought in to what it takes for all 80 minutes. Naturally, with that said, I could very easily mention everyone that contributed tonight but I probably haven’t given Michael Rafalowski his flowers enough this season. He wasn’t feeling well tonight, and while he would probably tell you it wasn’t his best game of the season, he pops up with two big goals for us out of midfield.

While we were a bit open early in the game, our back three grew into the game really really well and didn’t give much of anything in the way of chances later on. Those guys (Kieran, Xan, and Ethan) are so steady and their profiles compliment each other really nicely. When they’re playing well, they make it difficult for any opponent while also giving us the platform to play the way we want to play going forward.

Lastly, it’s important to acknowledge Pennridge’s seniors on their Senior Night. They went through a lot in terms of injuries, but the way they battled particularly in the second half of the season is really admirable and testament to what Aaron and that staff stands for. It was great to see Parker Annon who’s been hurt all season get back on the field for them as well, even very limited. It’s a shame to see any player’s season end due to injury, let alone a senior and a class act like Parker.”
