Abington Shows Fight in Straight-Set Loss to New Hope-Solebury. The Abington High School Girls Volleyball team put up a spirited effort Thursday night but fell to New Hope-Solebury in straight sets: 25–22, 25–17, 25–20.

# 9 Junior Maddie Peltzer led the Ghosts with 9 kills, 1 ace, 5 digs, and 9 blocks, while fellow Junior #14 Sofie Heininger added 9 kills, and 8 digs, 2 blocks, continuing her strong all-around play. Senior’s #13 Ava Peltzer, #21 Katie Pennekamp and #20 Morgan Kuchar,anchoring the front line with skill, leadership and grit.

Despite the loss, Abington showed resilience and flashes of high-level play, keeping each set competitive and pushing New Hope-Solebury throughout the match.
