Wow, what a team win! Despite Abington scoring first, the girls never gave up until the final whistle, and I am really proud of that. We played our style of hockey — quick free starts, finding the flat and through passes, and keeping it simple — and it showed today. We also capitalized on multiple corner opportunities, which is something we struggled with earlier in the season, and it was great to see that progress. Shoutout to Abington’s goalkeeper, who has challenged our players both times we have played them this season and never makes it easy to score.

I would like to recognize Sam Farno, who has really stepped up these last few games. She is a pivotal player on both offense and defense and was able to put two goals in the back of the net today, along with an assist. Our captains, Regan Szczepkowicz and Julia Wells, also deserve recognition for their leadership this season. They continue to show composure both on and off the ball and each tallied an assist today to help us capitalize on our corners. Lastly, a shoutout to Ally Maier, who recorded her first goal of the season! She continues to stand out as a versatile player, ready to play any position and make it work.
