Happy with our performance today and that we were able to score early to take the pressure out of the game.
Our first goal came after 3 mins when Maddie Ritter made a great overlapping run and crossed for Keagan Terry to score, after 9 mins Audrey Rogan finished off a cross from Isabel Diaz. I thought we played really well in the opening period, our possession was solid and our decision making in the final third was pretty good. We were able to add 2 more goal later in the first half when Keagan Terry scored off a Kinsley Smith assist and the Audrey Rogan hit a nice long range shot on a smart lay off from Peyton Perry.
Second half we continued to create some good moments, Sarina Igval finished off a nice through ball from Isabel Diaz a few mins into the period, but that was the end of our scoring. We were able to use a lot of players today and I think the most pleasing part for us is that players coming in still recognize and try to do the same things in terms of our build up play and ideas.
Unfortunately Bensalem were suffering through some injuries today, but credit to them, they battled hard for 80 mins, Bob and his staff continue to coach them well, they have good ideas, some good patterns and they always try to play the game the right way.
