It was a bit of a sloppy game with all of the rain. But after a few minutes we adjusted well. Out mids had to to a lot of dirty work in the middle of the field. Barrales, Williams, Shaw, Aldefer all worked really hard in there for the team. Barrales especially had a lot of work on his plate tonight. I think we played him at 4 different positions.
Again it was a soppy game. So we really relied on guys out working our opponent. There are so many guys we could shout out today. We’ve had a crazy couple weeks, tomorrow will be our 6th game in 11 days. I’m incredibly proud of the work ethic ever single one of these guys has shown in the past two weeks. It’s not easy playing all of these games in a row, but the boys are showing up.

Back line was incredibly solid again. Just really good play and smart decisions.

Pisoni scored the second goal for us off a Shaw assit. He then took on two defenders and slotted the ball in the corner AJ is having a really solid few games here. Very dangerous, creating crosses and finishing his chances. AJ also assisted the third goal. He was in on a breakaway and made a really unselfish decision to pass the ball to Manners, who had a tap in, to finish the game off.

Fin Williams played a great game in the CM. Especially in the second half! He won a lot of balls for us and made good decisions going forward

Fernando and Manners connecting on our first goal. Was a very nice goal. With Fernando winning the ball, playing it to Manners. And then Manners with a great ball back across the goal for Fernando to finish off.

Proud of the effort we put out today as a whole team from the starting 11 to the energy off the bench. It was wet physical battle under the lights Headers and touches weren’t as clean which cost us unfortunately on two of their goals. They were a good team and I feel we played a competitive game. We need to keep that same intensity and energy as we head back into our conference games next week.
