Score was tied at 2-2 into the 10th inning. With 2 out Kelly Shoener scored on a single by Bridy Harkins to put LC ahead 3-2. In the bottom of the 10th Karlie McCreary started at 2nd(international tie breaker) and stayed at second on an infield single by Brooke Labs. A sacrifice bunt by Emily Hofmann moved both runners to 3rd and 2nd with one out. Emily Mayhew(pitched first 5 innings) reached base safely on an infield single when no one covered first. Paige DeCew then single to drive in McCreary and tie the score at 3s. With bases loaded and 1 out, Mary Kate Scott struck out Morgan Leatherman looking. Then Jordan Villella hit a line drive single to right field to score Labs and the winning run.



This was a big game for Jordan Villella. She is our only senior and a captain. She has really been struggling at the plate and has probably been 0 for the last 5 games. Tonight she went 2 for 5 with the game winning RBI. She was all over the place in the outfield from center field registering 4 putouts.
