COACH ED BRNARDIC:
We had a comfortable first half and were a bit unlucky to not be up by more than two goals. Tyler Jaskelewicz was dangerous on the wing scoring the first on a beautiful ball from Rowan McDonald, and later winning a penalty kick after AJ Okoniewski sent him through to goal and he was then tripped up by the defenders. We opened up the second half determined to put in an all-important third goal and close out the game, but instead we made the match more difficult on ourselves when we conceded on a set play. Early in the second half Cheltenham had a free kick from about 35 yards out and we left an attacker all alone in the box. The ball rebounded to him and he was able to lob a perfect ball from a very difficult angle over our defenders and keeper.

PROPS:
Our defenders Rowan McDonald and Lucas Tyson were lockdown on the back line, and we celebrated Finn Commins who scored his first Varsity goal. In the midfield Josh Dozier put in an incredible effort and up-front Tyler Jaskelewicz generated both of our goals.
