Player of the Week.
Ryan Rowe, Pennridge – The Princeton University-bound senior was dominant on both sides of the football in Pennridge’s 14-0 win over Pennsbury. Rowe had 13 carries for 124 yards and one touchdown at running back, and at linebacker, Rowe had a team-high nine tackles and two tackles for loss.

Offensive Co-Players of the Week
Michael Eckart, Neshaminy – The senior quarterback had a huge night in Neshaminy’s 18-14 win over defending District 1 6A runner-up North Penn in the SOL opener for both teams. Eckart completed 11 of 17 passes for 149 yards and two touchdowns. He also had 17 carries for 109 yards and a touchdown, including a huge fourth down run that sealed the Knights’ fate.
Nathan Torrealba, Springfield Twp – The junior quarterback was unstoppable in Springfield Twp’s 42-14 win over Lower Moreland, throwing for six touchdowns – five in the first half. He completed 10 of 13 passes for 213 yards and also had 11 carries for 127 yards for a total of 340 yards of offense.

Defensive Players of the Week
Quakertown Defensive Unit – The defense pitched a shutout in Quakertown’s 21-7 win over Bensalem in the SOL opener for both teams, limiting a dangerous Owls’ offense to less than 200 yards of total offense. The Owls’ lone score came on a kickoff return for a touchdown.
Sterling Limo Honor Roll:
Cade Crim, Central Bucks South – The senior quarterback had nine carries for 104 yards and a touchdown in Central Bucks South’s 21-14 win over Central Bucks East. His 86-yard touchdown run on a counter in the fourth quarter broke a 14-14 tie and was the game-winner.
Tommy Fuhrmeister & Magnus Figueroa, Central Bucks East – The duo each had eight pancake blocks in Central Bucks East’s 21-14 loss to Central Bucks South.
Gavin Graham, Central Bucks South – The junior running back had nine carries for 110 yards and two touchdowns in Central Bucks South’s 21-14 win over Central Bucks East.
Mike Sassano & Nick Sassano, Neshaminy – The senior twins had a hand in 23 tackles in Neshaminy’s 18-14 win over North Penn. Nick was part of 13 tackles with seven solo, while Mike was part of 10 tackles with four solo tackles.
Ron Shepherd, Upper Dublin – The senior running back led the offense in Upper Dublin’s 25-14 win over Council Rock North, finishing with 214 yards and three touchdowns on 23 carries.
Nate Szydlik, Council Rock South – The senior linebacker had a hand in nine tackles in Council Rock South’s 28-20 win over Cheltenham. On the offensive side of the football, he had 3 receptions for 62 yards and five carries for 60 yards for 122 yards total offense.
Ben Walsh, Souderton – The junior quarterback completed 12 of 13 passes for 164 yards and two touchdowns in Souderton’s 48-7 win over Harry S Truman.
Alex Whitcomb, Souderton – The junior wide receiver/defensive back returned a kickoff 76 yards for a touchdown in Souderton’s 48-7 win over Harry S Truman.
