Upper Moreland Comments
Upper Moreland put pressure on right from the start with several corners and shots on goal. We definitely dominated the first few minutes, but could not put the ball in the goal. Then Lower Moreland scored at the end of the 1st quarter on their first break into the circle, and that seemed to be a game changer.
From there, UM was back on their heels and not able to get much offensive pressure . We seemed to struggle in the heat because of some players getting over sickness, not making excuses but it's been a problem for a week or two.
Also, the whistle was blowing every few seconds against either team, which led to no continuity during the game and it became just a game of free hits.
Even though Lower Moreland scored 3 goals, Tierney Hogan played well making 9 saves.
Overall, Lower Moreland took advantage of their opportunities in the circle and UM could not connect.

We didn't get our feet under us until midway through the 1st quarter. We had 14 fabulous shots on goal, many just wide of the net but continued to pressure and began to put the tallies in the scorebook. Cara Torgan's game play was pristine and fun to watch. It was a great outing for Lower Moreland.
