Central Bucks East Comments
The energy today was really positive all around. We had a few injuries that made us change the game plan, but I’m proud of us for making those adjustments and pushing through. Emerson McFeely, Syd Lafferty, and Megan Fahey did a great job controlling the midfield and making some offensive opportunities. Props to Wissahickon’s GK who did a great job keeping us out of the cage. Our defense did a great job stopping their breakaways and ensuring we finished with the shutout.

Quarter Scores:

End of Q1: 0–0
End of Q2: 1–0 CB East
End of Q3: 1–0 CB East
Final: 1-0 CB East

Although the final score did not reflect our efforts, our team competed for the full 60 minutes, which is something we have been striving to achieve as the season has progressed. We generated several attacking opportunities but unfortunately were unable to capitalize on them.

Our lineup saw some adjustments today, with Layla Keller stepping into a forward role and creating strong offensive chances. Julia Wells and Ally Maier also made important contributions in the midfield alongside Sam Farno, applying effective back pressure throughout the game. I want to highlight Regan Szczepkowicz for her composure and confidence in the center position, consistently stepping to the ball with determination.

In goal, Ava Fell had an outstanding performance with 13 saves. She continues to be a leader on the field, organizing our defense and communicating effectively. Additionally, I would like to recognize Sylvia Lampron for earning her third defensive save of the season. Sylvia is a composed and patient defender who makes an impact with well-timed tackles and clear decisions. I look forward to watching her continued growth this season.
