I thought we came out moving the ball well today but we’re a bit flat in the final third. We seemed to be missing that drive getting to goal. We generated chances with five first half corners but Bensalem’s goalie was going to make us earn it. At half time we stressed being in this situation before a sticking to what we do well.

I thought we came out with a better intensity in the second half and Kate Deal was able to find Kirlin on a through ball for a composed finish. Shortly after Ruby was able to pick out Howard on a great diagonal run where Brianna hammered it home. I was really pleased with how they answered the second half whistle.

Our back line did a great job of limiting chances and keeping Ella from having to do much in goal. We generated a dozen corners which is great, but we still need to find that intensity in front of goal to start cashing those in. We turn around on the road to Pennsbury tomorrow night so hopefully we continue momentum from our second half today.
