Plymouth Whitemarsh stalled the Fords of Haverford to complete a 3-1 win. After dropping the first set 25-23, the Colonials won 3 straight, 25-20, 25-23, 25-20. Marissa Storti lead the Colonials with 20 kills, 8 digs, and an ace. Eliza Meersman had 8 kills to go with 7 digs, Ryleigh Gunn had 7 kills down the stretch to put the match out of reach for the Fords. Giuliana Storti lead the defense with 28 digs, with Ella Walker and Brigid Keenan each having 11 digs. Brooke Peduzzi and Ella Walker shared the setting duties this evening, Brooke had 18 assists and Ella finished with 16.

The Colonials move to 5-0 on the season and will have two familiar league opponents next week with Hatboro coming to town on Tuesday and Upper Dublin on Thursday afternoon.

Coach Stewart was very happy with the no quit attitude of his team this evening and is very pleased with the full team effort. Our team continues to focus on the need for everyone to contribute and tonight that happened. Everyone stepped up in some way this evening. It was great to see us executing and it’s good to see our team playing this well early in the season.
