A tight contest between the visiting Patriots and host Rams that went until the very last whistle. Central Bucks East opened the scoring late in the first half on a corner, scored by Emerson McFeely (CBE). The Patriots added another as time dwindled in the third quarter, with Sydney Lafferty (CBE) taking the ball up the field and finding Brynn Bonargo (CBE) for the finish.

Pennridge surged back in the fourth quarter with a relentless attack, finally finding the back of the cage at the 5:07 mark to cut the lead to one. Earning a penalty corner with time expiring, the Patriots were able to stave off a tying goal to secure the win.

Pennridge coach Chris Chookagian on the game: “What a tight game that kept everyone on their toes until the very end. It was nice to see the players bounce back after two tough losses. It's a new week with renewed energy. Although tonight was not the outcome we were hoping for, we are taking steps in the right direction to be where we want to be at the end of the season. It's starting to click and you can see the growth in each player."

Up next: Pennridge (2-3, 0-3 SOL) will travel to North Penn on Thursday for a 7pm match-up, and Central Bucks East will travel to Souderton on Thursday at 6:30pm.

Tonight was a really fun win. The whole team started to gel very nicely and have some really great passing combinations. Our defense has been having stellar games all season, and tonight they did a great job connecting with the midfield for great transitions out of the back. Brynn Bonargo had a phenomenal game powering the offense while Megan Fahey, Emerson McFeely, and Sydney Lafferty acted as catalysts in the midfield. Sophia Gerken was a real spitfire on offense tonight, giving us some good scoring opportunities.
