The Lady Patriots tried to bounce from their first season loss earlier in the week, but ended up dropping a heartbreaking five set match to Souderton. The defense was anchored by senior Abi Zmuda (21 digs, 5 assists, 3 service aces). Many of those digs found one of our two setters (junior Brynne Vonder Schmalz - 29 assists, 3 digs, 2 service aces and junior Sadie Jones - 17 assists, 6 digs), who in turn fed our key offensive contributors (junior Alli Minacci - 18 kills, 4 service aces, 2 digs, 1 block, junior Summer Darling - 15 kills, 12 digs, 2 service aces, junior Carmyn O'Brien - 5 kills, 17 digs, 6 service aces). Sophomore Taliya Pettigrew (6 kills and 3 digs), junior Sophie Fiander (4 kills, 1 dig) and junior Joyce Bardwell (3 kills and 3 digs) also made critical contributions to the team.
