Reasons for choosing UPenn: “Originally, I wasn’t really looking to play sports in college. I considered committing to Carnegie Mellon but realized I wanted to focus on my academics, so I
applied to Penn early decision. I got in and essentially walked on to their soccer team.”
North Penn coach Mike Rio: “Izzy was just an all-around great athlete. She was an all-league honorable mention last year after missing half the season with a broken orbital. She was resilient, and our team instantly got better when she was back on the field. She really works hard and has a lot of intangibles that make her a great player on the field and a great teammate. She is also a true student athlete and excels in the classroom as well as on the soccer field. She will be missed, and I think she will crush it at Penn.”
