On Thursday, Dec. 18, 2025, Central Bucks South seniors Carrie Willliams & Addison Edwards were recognized for committing to play field hockey at the collegiate level.
Addison Edwards – Nazareth University (Field Hockey)
Major: Physical Therapy
Reasons for choosing Nazareth: “When my coach reached out me, I felt she really saw what I think my parents see in me and what I see in me. I had a goal set for myself, and I felt that team and that coach
were going to really help me reach that goal.”
What was the progression that led you to competing in field hockey at the collegiate level? “Once coaches started reaching out to me, I realized – ‘This is a possibility, the coaches see what I see.’”
CB South coach Kelli Chioffe: “Addison is a quiet, dedicated and passionate student athlete. She shows up to practice every day and gives 100 percent. Addison has a hard drive and is scrappy in front of the goal cage. She works extremely hard on and off the field. She played forward and was an inserter on offensive corners. She was also one of the leading goal scorers on our team this year.
“Addison is a highly intelligent student and was honored as a scholar of distinction. I wish her all the best at Nazareth University and look forward to seeing what she accomplishes on and off the field.”

Carrie Williams – York College of Pennsylvania (Field Hockey)
Major: Sport Management

Reasons for choosing York: “Definitely the campus size, and the team culture was incredible. They have a really good sport management program.”
What was the progression that led you to competing in field hockey at the collegiate level? “I started playing field hockey when I was 12 years
old, and when I was a sophomore, I decided I wanted to play in college. My dad played ice hockey, and field hockey is kind of the girl version, so hockey has always been a part of my life.”
CB South coach Kelli Chioffe: “Carrie was one of our team captains this past season. She is an exceptional leader and a great listener. She is openminded, kind, and her fellow teammates look up to her for support. Carrie was our leading goal scorer this year. She plays forward but would also play whatever position you need her to play. She has high energy and great game sense. She is confident and has been a consistent presence on the field for the past several years.
“Carrie also excels off the field being awarded high honors in school. It has been an absolute pleasure to coach her, and I look forward to seeing her continue her field hockey at York College.”
