Offensive Player of the Week

Michael Eckart, Neshaminy – The senior quarterback accounted for all four of his team’s touchdowns in Neshaminy’s 28-18 win over Central Bucks West. Eckart completed 11 of 17 passes for 170 yards and two touchdowns and had a quarterback rating of 136.0. He also was the Redskins’ leading ground gainer with 16 carries for 127 yards and two touchdowns.

Defensive Player of the Week

Mike Sassano, Neshaminy - The senior defensive back was a catalyst in Neshaminy’s 28-18 win over Central Bucks West. Sassano had a team-high 10 tackles – seven solo, including one TFL. He also had an interception.

Sterling Limo Honor Roll
Brody Blomgren, Pennridge – The junior linebacker led the defense in Pennridge’s 43-8 win over Abington. Blomgren finished with nine tackles, which included two TFLs and one sack. He also had an interception.

Mike Gianguilio, Plymouth Whitemarsh – The junior running back needed just eight carries to accumulate 167 yards and two touchdowns in Plymouth Whitemarsh’s 42-9 win over Hatboro-Horsham. He also had a reception for 12 yards.

Jared Higginbotham, Souderton – The senior running back had a big night in Souderton’s 35-0 win over Cheltenham. Higginbotham, who transferred from Cheltenham, had 16 carries for 126 yards and a touchdown.

Gavin Lacey, Council Rock South – The junior running back was a workhorse in the backfield in Council Rock South’s 14-12 win over Bensalem, leading the Hawks with 21 carries for 122 yards and a touchdown.

Sean Leuthe, Pennridge -   The junior had a pair of touchdowns in Pennridge’s 43-8 win over Abington. Leuthe had two carries for 38 yards and a touchdown and one reception for 49 yards and a touchdown.

Hunter Pulford, Central Bucks East – The sophomore quarterback accounted for 219 total yards of offense and ha three rushing touchdowns in Central Bucks East’s 31-20 loss to North Penn.
