PENNRIDGE PLAYERS OF THE WEEK
Ryan Rowe, Pennridge – The senior had 18 carries for 69 yards and a touchdown as well as three receptions for 28 yards in Pennridge’s 22-21 win over Plymouth Whitemarsh in Friday’s opening round of the District 1 6A Tournament. His successful run for a two-point conversion gave the Rams the 22-21 lead with under a minute remaining in regulation and the resulting dramatic win.
Nolan Worman, Pennridge – The senior defensive end recovered two fumbles and caused a fumble in Pennridge’s 22-21 win over Plymouth Whitemarsh.

NORTH PENN PLAYERS OF THE WEEK
Matt Pownall, North Penn – The senior running back had 165 yards and two touchdowns on 14 carries in North Penn’s 42-14 win over Boyertown in at opening round game of the District 1 6A Tournament.
Nate Schepien, North Penn – The senior linebacker was a defensive catalyst with nine tackles (two tackles for loss) in North Penn’s 42-14 win over Boyertown in the opening round of the District 1 6A Tournament.

COUNCIL ROCK SOUTH PLAYERS OF THE WEEK
Nate Szydlik, Council Rock South – The senior running back/linebacker had an impact on both sides of the football in Council Rock South’s 43-7 win over Haverford in an opening round game of the District 1 6A Tournament. Szydlik had five carries for 100 yards and one touchdown – a 75-yard TD run that ignited the Golden Hawks. He also had a hand in 20 tackles.
Gavin Lacey, Council Rock South – The junior running back had 168 yards and two touchdowns on 16 carries in Council Rock South’s 43-7 win over Haverford in an opening round game of the District 1 6A Tournament.
Nick Sassano, Neshaminy – The senior wide receiver/defensive back led the defense with nine solo tackles and had a hand in 15 tackles in Neshaminy’s 28-21 win over Central Bucks West.

SOUDERTON PLAYERS OF THE WEEK
Timmy Meehan, Souderton – The senior wide receiver/defensive back led the team with 13 tackles (1 for loss) and also contributed six receptions for 58 yards in Souderton’s 23-6 PIAA District 1 6A First Round win over Ridley.
Ben Walsh, Souderton – The senior quarterback completed 10 of 13 passes for 158 yards and a touchdown in Souderton 23-6 win over Ridley in an opening round game of the District 1 6A Tournament.
Caleb Moyer, Souderton – The junior running back had 101 yards and a touchdown on 15 carries in Souderton’s 23-6 win over Ridley.
Hunter Smeltz, Souderton – The senior wide receiver/defensive back had five receptions for 125 yards and a touchdown in Souderton’s 23-6 win over Ridley.
Noah Porter, Souderton – The senior linebacker had three tackles and a blocked punt in the end zone for a safety in Souderton’s 23-6 win over Ridley.

NESHAMINY PLAYERS OF THE WEEK
Michael Eckart, Neshaminy – The senior quarterback completed 19 of 26 passes for 232 yards and two touchdowns in Neshaminy’s 28-21 upset of Central Bucks West in the opening round of the District 1 6A Tournament. He also had 19 carries for 103 yards and two touchdowns, accounting for 335 yards total offense.
Carter Clee, Neshaminy – The senior running back had 19 carries for 103 yards and two touchdowns in Neshaminy’s 28-21 win over Central Bucks West.
Nick Sassano, Neshaminy – The senior wide receiver/defensive back led the defense in Neshaminy’s 28-21 win over Central Bucks West, finishing with 15 tackles, which included a team-high nine solo tackles.
