SOL Wrestling Individuals Honored with 2026 D1 Wrestling Coaches Association Induction in to the Southeast Region Hall of Fame. The ceremony to honor HOF Inductees is Saturday, Feb. 28, 2026, at Oxford High School prior to the Finals of the 2026 SE Regional Wrestling Championships.
Joey (Joe) Rigous (Wrestler/Coach)-Joe was a 1977 graduate of Neshaminy-Maple Point HS and a 1985 East Stroudsburg University graduate. In 1977 wrestling at 167lbs, he won a Sectional and District title and finished 4th at Regionals going 21-4-2. He was a two-year captain with a career record 30-12-2 at Maple Point. His collegiate career began at Bucks County Community College and finished at ESU. Joe was a two-time NJCAA All-American at BCCC. After transferring to ESU, he finished his collegiate career with a 4th place finish in the EIWAs, going 14-4-1 and was undefeated in dual meets at 9-0-1.
During his wrestling career he was a Jr National Freestyle Champ and Roman-Greco runner-up, a 2x Jr World place-winner and Olympic Greco Regional Champion in 1980. Joe’s coaching career spanned over 40 years as a leader at the youth level with the Warminster Spartans, SEPA, Keystone Brawlers National Teams and Apache, as well as a PIAA coach in D1. He was an assistant at Central Bucks East and West, along with a 12-year head coaching career at William Tennent (2007-2013) and CB South (2013-19). Joe was the owner of Rigous Pool Builders & Services.
Presenter: His wife of 38 years, Trish Rigous will present Joe’s Award (posthumously) to their son Dominic Rigous, and daughters Joei (Rigous) Natale and Megan (Rigous) Wenclewicz.
Josh Stillings (State Champion)-Pennridge HS (2018), 2023 Drexel and 2024 Citadel (MBA) graduate. Josh was the PIAA State Champion in 2018 at 182-pounds, going 31-1 as a senior. He amassed a scholastic career record 151-27 as a two-time captain for the Rams. His accomplishments include four Sectional titles and four District titles (2015 thru 2018), along with three Regional championships (2016 thru 2018, Outstanding Wrestler in 2018) and a runner-up finish in 2015 as a freshman in 2015. He garnered three medals in Hershey during his career as a four-time state qualifier, 4th in 2016 and as a runner-up in 2017 at 160lbs. prior to winning it all in 2018. He was a two-time place-winner (2017 & 2018) at the Beast of the East, placing 3rd in 2018 and finished 3rd at Powerade in 2016 and named to the All-Decade (2000-2019) 2nd Team by pa-wrestling.com. Josh excelled in all disciplines of wrestling finishing 3rd in Greco and 4th in Freestyle at Fargo in 2016 and was a 2x PJW champion. At Drexel, he placed 3rd at the F&M Open and 8th at the Keystone Classic in 2023. He has been coaching at SEPA since 2024 to current. After earning his MBA at the Citadel, he has been working as an accountant for Fleetway Capital. He would like to thank Joe Erb for being a great mentor and friend.
