The Owls took a 2-0 lead in the first and led by a 3-0 score heading into the fifth inning when they erupted for seven runs, bringing an early end to the contest. Veronica Pachucki’s RBI triple gave the Owls the walk-off mercy rule win.
Pachucki and Reece Colgan both had three hits to lead the Owls, who collected 10 hits in the abbreviated contest.
Dana Oliverio allowed just two hits in a five-inning shutout in the circle.

Reece Colgan followed with an RBI double to right field, and Makenna Chaykowski’s groundout scored another run. Pachucki’s triple plated a run that brought an early end to the game.
