SOL National Conference
COUNCIL ROCK SOUTH 3, WILLIAM TENNENT 0
The Golden Hawks rolled to a three-set sweep Thursday.
“A team effort in tonight’s match-up, Rock South Kelly Korn said.
Setter Emelie Korn put up 23 assists, with setter/DS Mia Bacevich adding six and DS Niamh McGinley adding two.
The offense was well rounded, led by Olivia DeSaro with 17 kills and additional kills by Toren Kotter (6), Soleil Kauer (5), Riley Witmer (3) and Kristina Shumakov, Ella Ford and Emelie Korn each adding two.
Defensively Kotter added three blocks and Shumakov, two, while DeSaro dug up 11, Chloe Brossman dug up nine, Kauer, seven, Bacevich, six, Korn, five, and McGinley added our.
Aces served up by Kauer (4), DeSaro (3), Korn (2), McGinley and Brossman (1 each).
Up next: Council Rock South (9-2, 8-1 SOL) will host New Hope-Solebury on Monday and William Tennent will travel to Neshaminy on Tuesday.
COUNCIL ROCK NORTH 3, BENSALEM 0 (25-22, 25-20, 25-19)
The Indians earned a sweep of the visiting Owls in conference action Thursday.
Council Rock North was led by senior Sloane Jordan with 17 kills, 3 aces and 2 blocks. Sophomore Ellie Lapinski delivered 10 kills and 4 aces. Sophomore Kinley Adams dished out 22 assists while senior Marcela Roszko added 4 assists.
Up next: Council Rock North will host Pennsbury on Tuesday, and Bensalem will host Central Bucks East Friday (5pm).
SOL Continental Division
CENTRAL BUCKS WEST 3, PENNRIDGE 1 (25-22, 26-28, 25-18, 25-20)
After a controversial end to set two, CB West was down 18-11 in set three but ran off 14 straight points, utilizing solid serving from Keeley Fialkowski and a strong offensive push led by Kya Lynch. They carried that momentum into the fourth and final set.
Lynch delivered 32 kills in a dominant performance at the net. Emma Shank and Erinn McCusker combined for 36 assists. Emily Ferrese’s 20 digs led the West defense.

NORTH PENN 3, QUAKERTOWN 0 (25-16, 25-20, 26-24)
The Knights kept their perfect season alive with a sweep of the Panthers.

North Penn Knights Down Quakertown, 3-0

The North Penn Knights volleyball team continues its undefeated record, beating Quakertown 3-0. The match was controlled from the first serve by the Knights, with the Panthers missing critical players due to injury.
The Knights got off to a quick start in set one. After a quick side out, senior captain Belle Mukulski extended the lead to 5-0 from the serving line, and the Knights pushed the lead to 15-5 with tough serving from senior libero, Kate Donaldson. North Penn's hitting and defense overpowered Quakertown in set one. Junior captain middle hitter Maya Mukulski led the Knights with four kills and two solo blocks. The Knights won set one 25-16.
Set two started slowly for the Knights with Quakertown taking the first lead of the match at 4-1. North Penn tied the set at seven and pulled away with senior captain outside hitter Madlen Putrusilova, who pushed the lead to 10-7. Madlen led the team with three aces, and sophomore outside hitter Holland Van Ooyen topped the hitters with three kills. Sophomore middle hitter Siena Andolino registered an impressive middle kill, showing her improvement this season. The Knights used the bench to build experience in set two and pushed to win the set 25-20.
The final set of the match started slowly, like set two. The Panthers built a quick 3-5 lead, with the Knights powering back to tie the set at five. The Knights continued to mix up the lineup and traded points for most of the set. North Penn built a 16-11 lead, and it looked like the Knights would pull away. Quakertown stormed back to tie the match at seventeen, and North Penn fended off the Panthers' push. The Knights pulled away, but Quakertown tied the set again at twenty-four. A quick side out and North Penn closed the set 26-24.
The Knights added another victory this season, building the record to 12-0, the day after a tough match win against Boyertown. The Panthers put pressure on North Penn in set three, but the match was never in doubt. The Knights' face Pennridge at home in the Navy gym on Tuesday.
SOUDERTON 3, CENTRAL BUCKS EAST 0 (25-14, 25-17, 25-16)
The Indians used a balance attack to defeat the Patriots in three straight sets.

The Titans received contributions up and down their lineup on their way to a non-league win Thursday. Allison West and Katelyn Roth led a balanced Titan attack with 12 kills each. Olivia Hessenthaler’s 29 digs led the defense. Setter Carly Scott handed out 13 assists.
