Isabelle Driehuis, Kate DiMartile and Caroline Stoffel combined for 30 kills, and sparked by their offensive firepower, the Cardinals earned a sweep in Tuesday’s match. Driehuis and DiMartile led the Cards at the net with 11 kills each. Alisa Zeng led UD’s defense with 25 digs while setter Parker Levin had 32 assists.
For the Lady Rams, Luci Lillo led the way with seven kills to go along with 11 digs.

“The Lady Rams dropped a three-set match to Upper Dublin tonight but continued to show encouraging signs as they gain experience and build chemistry early in the season. Pennridge battled throughout all three sets.

CENTRAL BUCKS SOUTH 3, LANSDALE CATHOLIC 2 (22-25, 26-24, 25-22, 18-25, 15-11)
The Titans won a thriller over the Crusaders. Leading a dominant performance at the net were Allison West (18 kills), Julia Sherstnyova (16 kills) and Katelyn Roth (13 kills). Setter Rose Kendrick dished out 37 assists. Leading the defense were libero Oliva Hessenthaler (27 digs), West (11 digs) and Lily Grzymala (11 digs).
That however was just part of the story of a match that interrupted by a leak in the ceiling.
“Between the fourth and fifth sets we need to change gyms,” South coach Kurt Godfrey said. “It was pouring rain outside and the main gym started leaking. We had to break down the net, switch gyms, and then we played the fifth set in the auxiliary gym.”
Not even a change in gyms could derail the Titans, who won the fifth set 15-11.

PW was handed a tough season opening loss to a good Downingtown West squad.
For PW, sparks came from senior Brooke Peduzzi with 9 kills, 7 aces / 3 senior players had 6 kills (Bailey Riley, Ryleigh Gunn 6 blocks, and Eliza Meersman 2 aces), setter Ellie Coyle led the way with 19 assists and 4 aces. PW (0-1, 0-0) hosts Haverford on Thursday.
BOYERTOWN 3, SOUDERTON 0
The Indians dropped a non-league match to a talented Bears’ squad.
