SOL Football Forecast (8-27-26)

Football Forecast – Volume 2

By Scott Huff

Pennridge is the defending Suburban One League National Conference champion, and the Rams (6-1 last year in the conference) will have that defending champion target on their back this 2026 season.

North Penn (defending District One champion – 5-2 conference), Neshaminy (5-2), Central Bucks West (5-2), Central Bucks South (4-3), Central Bucks East (2-5), Pennsbury (1-6) & Abington (0-7) round out what is considered one of the best conferences in the state.

Council Rock South is the defending Suburban One League Continental Conference champion, and the Golden Hawks (7-0 last year in the conference) will have that same defending champion bullseye on their back this 2026 season.

Souderton (6-1 conference), Quakertown (4-3), Upper Dublin (4-3), Bensalem (3-4), Council Rock North (0-7) & ‘newcomer’ Plymouth Whitemarsh (5-0 in the SOL American Conference) will all take aim at a conference title.

There will be no defending champion in the Suburban One League American Conference due to Plymouth Whitemarsh moving to the SOL Continental.  The Colonials had not lost a conference game the last five seasons with a 26-0 conference record.

Wissahickon (4-1 in conference), Upper Moreland (3-2), Springfield (1-4) & William Tennent (0-5) will all have a clear shot at the conference championship.  Harry S Truman (2-5 last season in the SOL Continental Conference) will join the SOL American Conference this year.
