Abington 8, Neshaminy 7
The Ghosts trailed by one at halftime (5-4) but limited the Redskins to just two goals in the second half, rallying for the hard-fought win.
Conor Chapin’s five-point game led the Ghosts’ attack.

“It was a good close hard-fought game by both teams. We received hard play from LSMs Liam Penderghest and Alen Mnatsakanyan as well as good team offense with seven of eight goals being assisted, which helped us get the win.”

Central Bucks South 15, Holy Ghost Prep 7
Zach Doer’s eight-point game led an inspired Titan attack, but it was the near-perfect effort of Blake Bernstein at the X that set the tone for Wednesday’s non-league road win. Bernstein won 25 of 26 faceoffs in a dominant effort. Also coming up big on attack was Braedan Surina, who had a hand in seven goals.
James Vargason led the Titans’ defensive effort with five ground balls and two caused turnovers.

The Spartans came up short in Wednesday’s non-league contest, but there were plenty of positives.

--The game: “It was a hard-fought game. Evenly matched and some fun lacrosse to watch. We had many players contributing today both on and off the ball, and I love to see them keep building together.
“Some great team play at times. Have to get more consistent with that and lessen the turnovers and not give the other team more scoring opportunities.”
--Props: “Adrianna Demers had a great game today. She was all over the field, contributing on both sides of the ball. Charley Kerr stepped up after an injury early on and played well in the midfield, making some key plays for us. Caroline Dailey also had some key stops and was pivotal in many of our transitions out of the defensive zone.
“On attack, Frankie Rizzo has been a great leader for us out on the field. You can find her learning and adjusting and talking through everything with her teammates during the game.
“Proud of the team and their effort -they adjusted as the game went on with things we were talking about in timeouts and breaks. Looking forward to getting back to league play tomorrow.”

Brianna Gardner turned in a five-goal effort to lead the attack, but her impact didn’t end there. She also had six draw controls, three ground balls and four caused turnovers.

“Today's loss showed us a lot about what we need to work on as a team. We made a lot of small mistakes that cost us big in the long run. We came back from spring break rusty and are now rebuilding our team chemistry. The entire game was a back and forth with neither team leading more than two goals. It was a competitive game but at the end of the day, we came up short and are using this as an opportunity to simply just get better."
Up next: The Panthers will travel to Hatboro Horsham for a conference game at 3:30 pm on Thursday.
Neshaminy 18, George School 3
Maria Mitchell and Reese Merrill combined for nine goals to lead the Redskins’ attack. Delaney Mee’s dominance on the draw with 14 draw controls was a key to Neshaminy’s success.
“It was a complete team effort from start to finish and a great win for our program,” Neshaminy coach Laurie Smith said.

“Our offense was firing on all cylinders, with eight different players finding the back of the net.
“Leading the way were Maria Mitchell with five goals and Reese Merrill with four, while Delaney Mee added three goals and dominated possession with an impressive 14 draw controls.
“Calleigh Tvarok, Madi Morrow, Abby Weiner, Emily Hines and Chloe Brison (2) each scored. In goal, Jess Reardon anchored the defense with six saves.”
