SOL Boys' Volleyball Wrap (4-30-26)

WISSAHICKON 3, PENNRIDGE 0 (25-14, 25-23, 25-18)
The Wissahickon Trojans traveled to face the undefeated Pennridge Rams hoping to end an 0-5 record against them. 
The Wiss boys carried momentum from Senior Night and took the first set 25-14.  Set two was a back-and-forth battle ending 25-23 in favor of the Trojans.  After giving up an early lead in set three, the Trojans settled down and took the set 25-18.
The Trojans featured a balanced attack and solid team defense.  Leading the way for the Trojans were seniors Jonas Sabia (16 Kills, 10 Assists, 1 Block and 11 Digs), Reed Harris (15 Kills, 17 Assists, 4 Blocks and 5 Digs), Dean Bowers (3 Kills, 2 Blocks and 1 Assist), Keath McKelvey (8 Assists and 7 Blocks) and Justin Pak (1 Ace and 7 Digs).  Sophomore Joseph Oh had seven digs and one assist. Wissahickon senior Reed Harris dished out his 1,000th career assist tonight joining Nate Oh in the Trojans’record book.

Up next: The Trojans will host Quakertown on Monday, and Pennridge will travel to Central Bucks East on Monday.

Non-league
CENTRAL BUCKS SOUTH 3, HAVERFORD 0

CB South strung together back-to-back wins, defeating Haverford in three sets. 
Senior setter Javi Robayo orchestrated the offense with complete balance, dishing eight kills to each Jake Wullert, Ionnis Chios and Max Zagnojny.  Val Lepuha contributed five kills while Michael Wang led the team in digs with 10.  Sophomore Colin Barry served well off the bench.

Up next: Central Bucks South will host North Penn on Monday.
