SOL Boys' Volleyball Wrap (3-27-26)

CENTRAL BUCKS SOUTH 3, WISSAHICKON 2

CB South defeated Wissahickon 3-2 in a playoff-like atmosphere .  The Titans dropped the first two sets but came back to win the next three.  They were led by outside hitter Max Zagnojny with 20 kills and 11 digs.  Senior setter Xavier Robayo had 41 assists.  Ionnis Chios was strong at the net with 10 kills and 4 blocks.  Excellent defense came from senior libero Michael Wang who had 16 digs and had a great night passing the ball.  Outside hitter Jake Wullert contributed all around with 8 kills, 8 digs, 3 blocks and strong passing.
Up next: Central Bucks South is off until Tuesday, April 7, when the Titans will travel to Central Bucks West. Wissahickon will be on the road at North Penn on April 7.

NORTH PENN 3, SOUDERTON 2 (20-25, 25-16, 23-25, 25-16, 15-10)
Knights defeated the visiting Indians in a grueling five-set battle.
By the numbers: North Penn: Samuel Kim ran the team’s offense with 49 assists, also adding two kills, one ace, two blocks and five digs to his name. Quinn Clarkson led the Knights with 21 kills, 3 aces, and 5 digs.Daniel Arskiy contributed 8 kills and 7 blocks, keeping the opponent’s outside in check. Jaden Lian also chipped in 8 kills and 3 digs. Luca Dalla Costa led in the middles with 6 kills, 3 blocks and 1 ace, Rajan Baghat added 5 kills and 6 blocks. Aaron DeSantis also took home 3 kills
Kyle Park 2 aces and 2 kills, The Knights’ defense was led by Prithvi Patel with 14 digs and 2 aces  Liam followed with 5 digs
Souderton: Caleb Pringle had 14 kills and 10 digs,  Sawyer Jones had 12 kills 7 digs, and 1 ace, and Teddy Sherman added 6 kills 8 digs and 2 aces.  Krish Patel dished out 33 assists, 8 digs and 1 block.  
Up next: North Penn will travel to Upper Dublin on Monday, and Souderton will host Pennridge on Monday.

UPPER DUBLIN 3, SPRING-FORD 2

The Flying Cardinals edge the Rams in a tightly-contested five set match. Colin Gahagan's 12 kills led the UD attack. Setter Charlie Watt handed out 30 assists. Leo Kuznits sparked the defense with 28 digs.
