Neshaminy 3, Cheltenham 0 (25-15, 25-19, 25-22)
Bobby Majka dished out 20 assists and Cadenn Amati and Nikoloz Mardaleishvili led a spread-out attack with seven kills each as Neshaminy swept Cheltenham in straight sets (25-15, 25-19, 25-22) in Wednesday’s National Conference matchup.

Cheltenham coach Marlene Jackson: “We battled hard against a tough Neshaminy squad but ultimately fell in straight sets. Despite the loss, Cheltenham showed resilience and competitiveness throughout the match, keeping game three especially close.
“Though the result didn’t fall their way, Cheltenham demonstrated grit and determination, proving they have the talent and heart to be a force in the division as the season progresses.”
--Props: “Defensively, sophomore libero Jake Nguyen was a standout, anchoring the back court with relentless energy and strong play. On the offensive side, sophomore outside hitter Jonathan McClenny (OH1) led the charge with six kills while also contributing at the net with several key blocks.”
Up next: Neshaminy will host nonleague opponent Haverford at 7 pm today. Cheltenham will visit Lower Moreland at 3:30 pm Friday.
Bensalem 3, Abington 1 (22-25, 25-23, 25-19, 25-21)
Bensalem defeated Abington in four, dropping the first set and then rallying back to win the next three.
The Owls were led by Suhaan Patel (3 kills 12 digs 2 blocks), Anthony Kozar (8 kills 3 blocks), Ethan Choi (15 digs) and Ish Patindar (8 digs).
Coach Ricky Patel gave a shoutout to outside hitter Shivam Patel.
“We expect a lot out of Shivam, he’s taken on a bigger role and really has matured on and off the court,” the Owls’ coach said. “We needed a big game from him and he delivered.” Shivam Patel finished with 18 kills 2 blocks 13 digs.
Setter Nand Patel (37 assists 1 kills 1 block) also made important contributions for the Owls.
Up next: Bensalem will travel to Dock Mennonite Academy for a non-league match Thursday. Abington will host Pennsbury on Tuesday, April 7.
Pennsbury 3, Council Rock South 0
American Conference
Pennridge 3, Central Bucks West 0 (25-19, 25-20, 25-18)
Owen Smith handed out 24 assists and added five kills as Pennridge swept Central Bucks West 3-0 (25-19, 25-20, 25-16) in Wednesday’s American Conference game. Logan Jalosinski provided 13 kills and three blocks as the Rams improve to 2-0 overall on the season.
Cole Muzyka led the Bucks with six kills, while Caleb Woodring had four kills and seven digs.

North Penn 3, Quakertown 0 (25-14, 25-21, 25-17)
North Penn picked up a 3-0 win over Quakertown in Wednesday’s American Conference match against Quakertown.
Sam Kim ran the Knights’ offense with 19 assists, also adding one ace, one block and 3 digs to his name. Quinn Clarkson led the team with 10 kills, 3 aces and 2 digs.
James Connor had four kills and five digs for the Panthers.

Wissahickon 3, Central Bucks East 0 (25-23, 27-25, 25-20)
The Trojans faced the Patriots of CB East in a tightly contested conference match Wednesday afternoon. The Patriots came out strong and were leading 23-19 in the first set before the Trojans behind a serving run by junior Ryan Cella (6 kills, 1 ace, 1 dig) regrouped and took the set 25-23. Set 2 was another back-and forth-battle won by the Trojans 27-25 on a decisive kill by Reed Harris (10 kills, 1 ace, 5 blocks and 9 assists). The Wiss boys took set 3 25-20 on a great kill by Jonas Sabia (10 kills, 1 ace, 3 blocks 5 assists and 7 digs) who was assisted by sophomore Joseph Oh (1 ace, 3 assists and 5 digs). Justin Pak dished out 15 assists to go with 2 kills and 8 digs. Up next for the Trojans are the undefeated Titans of CB South on Friday.
Kyle Knorr had 12 kills for East, while Eli Dalby had 19 assists.
