Pennridge 15, Council Rock North 9
Rocco Fanelli scored five goals and assisted on three others to reach the 200-point milestone and to power Pennridge – ranked 16th in the latest District 1 3A standings – to a 15-9 victory over sixth-ranked Council Rock North in Monday’s National Conference matchup.
Sean Leuthe added four goals for the Rams, while Cole Nitterour’s 21-for-27 effort in the faceoff circle was crucial in giving Pennridge control of the ball.

Pennridge coach Chris Pianko: “It was a great team win and started with Cole Nitterour doing a great job at the faceoff X. We started a little slow again, but we were able to turn it up in the second and third quarters to take control of the game.”

Souderton 8, Central Bucks South 5
Souderton maintained its spot tied atop the league standings as the Indians – ranked 14th in the latest District 1 3A standings – downed 22nd-ranked Central Bucks South 8-5 in Monday’s National Conference matchup.
The two teams battled to a 3-3 halftime tie, and the Indians led by just one heading into the fourth quarter when they outscored their hosts 3-1 to earn the win.
Chris Touhey’s four-goal effort led the Indians’ attack while Andrew Rivera anchored the defense in goal with 14 saves. He also scooped up three ground balls.
Blake Bernstein won 15-of-17 faceoffs for the Titans, while Josh Dozier recorded nine ground balls. Brayden Shahan made seven saves.

Council Rock South 14, North Penn 2
Council Rock South – ranked fifth in the District 1 3A standings – kept pace with the leaders in the National Conference, improving to 5-1 in league play with a commanding 14-2 victory over North Penn on Monday.
Trey Prozzillo delivered another outstanding performance in goal, recording 17 saves to anchor the defense.
Offensively, the scoring was well-balanced. Conor McCaffery led the charge with a dominant four-goal, three-assist performance. McCaffrey set the tone early, netting two first-quarter goals to help South jump out to a 7-0 lead by halftime.

Pennsbury 11, Central Bucks West 10 (OT)
Pennsbury rallied to earn a come-from-behind 11-10 overtime thriller over Central Bucks West in Monday’s National Conference game.
Pennsbury was down one with 1:09 to play in the fourth quarter, and the ball was in their defensive end. After a successful clear by Gavin Lucisano, the Falcons tied the game when Trent Becker found Brady Ghelhoff on the crease for a backhanded finish with 46 seconds on the clock. CB West won the ensuing faceoff, and the Pennsbury defense held them to force overtime.
CB West won the faceoff to start overtime and got a good shot on goal 15 seconds in. Colin Rakowski made a big save, and the ball was loose in the corner. Luke Flannery got the ground ball close to the endline, and the Falcons were able to get a timeout.
They had another successful clear, this time by Tommy Adami. John Curtis had the ball in the corner and waited for his teammates to setup on offense. Once settled, Curtis dodged to the cage and found Ghelhoff cutting to the crease off an inside pick from Lucisano to net the game winner just over a minute into overtime.
"It was a total team effort,” Pennsbury coach Dean Curtis said. “We came out and took our lumps in the first quarter but battled back.
“Super proud of these guys. We've been close all season, and it is so great to see these young men continue to fight as a team. Our defense, led by Bergen Wilhelm, really came together to turn the game in the second quarter.”
John Curtis’ six-point game led the Falcons’ attack. Brady Ghelhoff added three goals and one assist, including the tying goal and the game-winner.
Luke Fisher led the Bucks with three goals.

Central Bucks East celebrated its eight seniors, then the seniors showed their appreciation by powering the Patriots to a 9-5 victory over Neshaminy in Monday’s National Conference matchup.
The East seniors – Grant Bullard, Jak Kern, Jackson Jagoda, Charlie Munshower, Joe O’Leary, Luke Walters, Jack Williams, and Aiden Zimmer – played a huge part in the victory, with Jagoda scoring 
twice and scooping up seven ground balls. Bullard scored two goals, while Zimmer scored twice and assisted on two others.
The Patriots – ranked 19th in the District 1 3A standings – netted five unanswered goals in the second quarter to break open the game and give themselves a cushion.
Neshaminy’s Cayden Weaver had a big night at the X, winning 11 of 16 faceoffs

It took Hatboro-Horsham a quarter to find its scoring touch. But once the goals started, they rarely stopped, as the Hatters rolled to a 14-2 victory over Springfield Twp in Monday’s American Conference game.
Shane Phillips reached the 100-point plateau for his career in his three-goal, two-assist effort. Goalkeeper Anderson Kirby made 10 saves for the Hatters, who enter the week ranked 29th in the District 1 3A standings.

Upper Moreland 6, New Hope-Solebury 5 (2OT)
Jake Drinkwater was golden once again today.
Drinkwater scored his second overtime goal of the season – off an assist from David Adamski – in the second extra frame as Upper Moreland earned a thrilling 6-5 double-overtime win over New 
Hope-Solebury in Monday’s American Conference game.
“New Hope’s (goalkeeper) made another great save but we got the ball back on our ride and after a quick restart at X, Adamski found Drinkwater for the game-winner,” said Upper Moreland coach Matthew Beck. “Drink’s second OT winning goal this season.”
Drinkwater’s two goals led the Bears, while Adamski and Kevin Smith each had a goal and an assist.
Colina Davidson made 18 big saves to give the Bears the opportunity to pull out the victory.

—Standout scoring: “Ethan Starr had a huge goal for us in transition. Long pole goals always get the teams pumped. It was his first career goal! Evan Barrett, our off-ball merchant, found the back of the net today as well!”
—Props: “Our defense was outstanding again today. We went man down for the first time in the game in double-overtime. Our man-down unit – Rettew, Rose, Collins, Starr, Rhode and goalie Davidson – kept their composure and killed the penalty.
“The boys have done a good job navigating a tough stretch in our schedule. They didn’t point fingers or complain - they just kept working and it feels great to get a win today.”
Up next: The Golden Bears – ranked eighth in the latest District 1 2A standings – will visit Sun Valley for a nonleague matchup at 5:15 pm Friday. The 10th-ranked Lions visit Upper Dublin at 4 pm Thursday.
