Central Bucks South 7, Plymouth Whitemarsh 2
Central Bucks South rode a stellar defensive effort to a 7-2 win over Plymouth Whitemarsh in Monday’s SOL Crossover nonleague game. The Titans’ defense held the Colonials to a single goal in
each half, with Brayden Shahan turning aside 13 PW shots on goal, allowing the Titans’ attack to build a 5-1 lead at halftime.
Braedan Surina led South with two goals and an assist as well as three ground balls.
Mason Best made 14 saves for the Colonials.

Council Rock North 12, Father Judge 5
Jack Fitzgerald made 19 saves as Owen Rodowicz scooped up 10 ground balls and caused four turnovers as the Council Rock North defense boosted the squad to a 12-5 win over Father Judge in Monday’s nonleague game.

Upper Moreland 12, Conwell Egan Catholic 5
Upper Moreland coach Matthew Beck spoke. The Golden Bears listened … and responded.
After a lackluster first quarter, Beck tried to light a fire under his squad. The Golden Bears then went out and dominated the second quarter, scoring the only four goals of the frame to pull away to a 7-2 halftime lead.
David Adamski led the Upper Moreland attack with three goals and one assist, while Tyler Loughlin and James Funk each netted their first goals.

Upper Moreland coach Matthew Beck: “I felt we came out flat to start the game. I challenged the team to execute better in the second quarter and they did that. Defensively, we started out slow, but led by Lukas Rhode and Ethan Starr, we settled down. Colin Davidson was great in net again today, with 11 saves.”
—Props: “David Adamski keeps our offense moving and had a good game today. Kevin Smith and Travis Quirk continue their strong senior campaign. It’s not just the goals and assists, but what I love most is how hard they are playing.
“Tyler Loughlin and James Funk each recorded their first Varsity goal on great plays. Tyler got hit pretty good, but he scored anyway. James caught the ball on a clear and pushed transition and found the back of the net.
“Noah Fuchs had to move to short stick D-middie and did a good job there. He just wants to do whatever he can to help us win the game.”

Upper Moreland 3 4 3 2 – 12
Neshaminy 16, Upper Merion 7
Cayden Weaver won a whopping 22 of 24 faceoffs to give Neshaminy consistent possession throughout Monday’s nonleague game.
Weaver also did an exceptional job finishing plays as well, scoring four goals and assisting on two others as the ‘Skins picked up their first win of the season with a decisive 16-7 victory over Upper Merion.
Neshaminy began to pull away with six goals in the second quarter, then outscored Upper Merion 6-1 in the second half.

Neshaminy coach John Donato: “The team earned its first win, thanks to a stellar faceoff performance by Cayden Weaver, who won 22 of 24 draws and contributed four goals and two assists. Sophomore Nick Turchi had a standout game with five goals and three assists.
—Defense comes up big: “The defense, led by EJ Seitz, Caden Fogleman, and Nate Lenihan, settled in after the first quarter, executing our 10-man ride and supporting goalie Jaxon Olszewski, who made 12 saves.”

Ridley 15, Souderton 4
The Indians did battle with a tough Central League squad in a non-league contest Monday. The visiting Green Raiders opened up a 5-1 lead after one quarter and extended that to 11-3 by halftime on their way to the win.
Cam Ruff’s hat trick led the Indians’ attack.
