Class of '26 Makes UDHS Swimming History

It was recently announced that after winning their second consecutive PIAA State Championship, the Upper Dublin Girls Swimming and Diving Team are ranked as the 5th best high school team in the nation.  As such, the fifteen senior swimmers and divers gathered the trophies, medals and plaques they’ve garnered over their four years together for a group photo.

In praise of this group of girls, Head Coach Brandon Pierce said: “This year’s graduating class of seniors have been truly incredible.  Their focus and work ethic as a group was truly unprecedented in my years as coach.  And those qualities brought them the success and honors that have re-written the Upper Dublin Swimming history.   As strong as our program has been over the years, this girls’ team can clearly claim the title of GOAT.  They have created an intimidating legacy.”

Here are the honors these ladies have gathered over their four years of competition for Upper Dublin:

--Four team champion trophies at the prestigious Wilson Relay Carnival (2023 through 2026)

--Four consecutive undefeated SOL Liberty Division seasons (2023 through 2026)

--Four consecutive undefeated dual meet seasons (2023 through 2026)

--Four consecutive Suburban One Liberty Division team championship titles (2023 through 2026)

--Three consecutive District One team championships (2024 through 2026)

--Two consecutive PIAA State Championship titles (2025 and 2026) and one team runner-up trophy (2024)

--Three consecutive individual District One Championships for the 200 Medley Relay of Vikki Williams, Sophia Sileo-Magliari, Olivia Auwarter & Maddie Shapiro 

--Two gold medal performances at PIAA State Championships for the 200 Medley Relay (2024 and 2026)

--Two consecutive District One Championships in the 100 breaststroke for Sophia Sileo-Magliari

--Two consecutive PIAA State Championships in the 100 Breaststroke for Sophia Sileo- Magliari

--Two District One meet records: 200 Medley Relay of Williams, Sileo-Magliari, Auwarter,  & Shapiro and the 100 Breaststroke Sophia Sileo-Magliari

--One PIAA State Record for the 200 Medley Relay of Williams, Sileo-Magliari, Auwarter, & Shapiro

--Three UDHS School records in the 200 Medley relay, 200 Individual Medley (Olivia Auwarter) and 100 Breaststroke (Sophia Sileo-Magliari)

The team was honored at their annual awards banquet on April 18.
